Fitting instructions for PlugLock - [Print]

WARNING

In the interests of safety, you must switch off the power at the mains before attempting to fit this equipment

1. PlugLock comes to you in three sections (see diagram 1) - the front cover (A) and a two-piece rear section (B & C).

2. Having switched off the mains, unscrew (turning anti-clockwise) the two securing screws at either side of the socket front plate. It is only necessary to unscrew them for a distance of approximately 5mm or 1/4 inch.

3. After loosening the screws as required, pull the faceplate forward, leaving a small gap behind it into which you fit section B at the top and section C at the bottom. Then holding the two sections lightly so that they meet in the middle, re-tighten the two screws firmly. It is now safe to switch the mains supply on.

4. The rear section is now in place and you may plug in any appliances you want to use. Then hook the bottom of the front cover (section A) under the rear frame and click the top two lugs into place. Your plugs are now secure.

TO OPEN PLUGLOCK, DEPRESS THE TOP TWO LUGS AND PULL COVER FREE. TO REMOVE PLUGLOCK, SWITCH OFF POWER AT MAIN, THEN LOOSEN FACE PLATE SCREWS AND REMOVE SECTIONS. REMEMBER TO RE-TIGHTEN SCREWS BEFORE SWITCHING MAINS SUPPLY BACK ON.
PLUGLOCK IS RE-USABLE.
